Mineral King Radiology is looking for a Nurse Practitioner and/or Physician's Assistant to fill in and assist with patient visits. The ideal candidate will be fluent in English and Spanish with experience performing minor procedures. Day to day expectations will be to perform consultations on interventional radiology patients, as well as performing various procedures ranging from cosmetic to diagnostic, primarily at our outpatient center, VIP Specialists.

CORE FUNCTIONS
1. Participates in patient management, including prescribing treatment and additional procedures, following review with the supervising physician.

2. Completes procedures under the guidance, supervision and discretion of the supervising physician and displays competencies required by licensure, scope of practice, credentialing and organizational policy.

3. Assess and evaluate the physiologic and psychological responsiveness of each patient.

4. Collects, analyzes, evaluates pertinent information regarding equipment, procedures and the work environment for radiation safety, patient safety, risk management and quality management opportunities and implements corrective action when necessary.

Performs all functions according to established policies, procedures, regulatory and accreditation requirements, as well as applicable professional standards.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Requires graduation from either an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program, and currently registered as a NP or PA-C.

Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification required.

Excellent clinical and communications skills are required.

Job Types: Part-time, PRN, Per diem

Pay: $75.00 - $90.00 per hour
